1931 Model A Pickup - post 14 - More Priming and Smoothing

We're coming down the home stretch on the 1931 Model A.  We got pretty busy in February fixing all the cars that were damaged in the snow storms earlier in the month.  Now we have some time to finish up this 31 pickup.  This week we've been priming all the parts and then sanding them smooth.  The primer is filling in all the tiny rust pits nicely (all rust removed in sandblasting).  We are hoping to have this truck in the booth next week!  Keep checking back for more updates.

 

  

  

  

  

  

The fenders were brand new.  Check out the ridges on the edge of the fenders.  This is how they were in 1931!

1974 Ford Ranger F100 Project - Post 8 - Final Touches

The 1974 Ranger is virtually done.  The owner picked it up on Saturday and was very pleased with how it came out.  He's going to do the interior and some mechanical work over the winter.  We'll get it in and upload some more FINAL pictures this summer, so please check back.  We all think this truck turned out really well.  Can't wait to see it on the road!
